Moon's Flower

An ancient japanese legend tells that, once upon a time, in the small Kikai island, a poet, named Ki-men-tse, used to spend the night walking along the shores of the little lakes of the island. One night, he saw the Moon mirroring on the surface of a lake, and a beautiful yellow flower on her. "A flower of the moon, for sure!", he thought, and decided to give the flower to the girl he was in love with. He bended to pick the flower, but fell into the water, and disappeared for ever.

Since then, lots of buttercups flower every spring, exactly in the same place.
